Updated: Nov 7, 2023

We're so excited to introduce the newest additions to our team at Epivara!

Meet Sandra Soto, PhD, an alumna of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, where she earned both her DVM and PhD. Following her academic journey, Sandra further honed her expertise during her postdoctoral training at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With a relentless passion for reproductive science, she has dedicated the past nine years to unraveling the intricacies of fertility at the cellular level. Sandra's prolific contributions to reproduction and veterinary science journals underscore her extensive knowledge in these fields. As a Senior Scientist a Epivara, she leads research projects with a specific focus on cats and cattle. Leveraging her deep understanding of reproductive biology, Sandra is committed to devising innovative solutions that enhance the well-being of our beloved pets and community animals.

Next, meet Lindsey Reinacher, a passionate advocate for animals who is making a remarkable impact in our quest to better their lives. Lindsey graduated with a bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in December 2021. Her unwavering commitment to the welfare of animals led her to gain valuable experience as a Nutrition Research Technician at the UIUC Swine Research Center. As a Junior Scientist, she assumes a key position in our R&D team, actively engaging with research animals, conducting laboratory experiments, and providing essential support to our senior scientists. Her profound love for all creatures great and small serves as the driving force behind her work at Epivara.

Finally, meet Katie Chai, a hard-working and dedicated individual armed with a robust foundation in data analysis. Katie's academic journey led her to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned dual bachelor's degrees in Statistics and Chemical Engineering. This unique combination of analytical ability and engineering insight equips her with a diverse skill set, which she applies in her role as Epivara's Data Scientist. In her pivotal role, Katie takes on the essential responsibility of extracting meaningful insights and crafting predictive models from extensive datasets. Katie's excitement for all things data and genuine interest in promoting the humane treatment of animals are what inspire her to work towards Epivara's mission every day.

Join us in welcoming Sandra, Lindsey, and Katie to our family at Epivara! We look forward to all the remarkable contributions they will make at our company and in the field of animal welfare.
